For a start, we minimise construction miles - and the carbon footprint - by calling on our skills of our network of fully employed fitters nearest to the job. We have a distinct policy of using public transport where practical, and our recent move to new offices was undertaken with the environment in mind. As an example, when fitting out our new offices, we insisted on PIR lighting, eco-friendly heating and, as you might expect given our business, the highest specification of insulating glass as possible.
As far as our clients are concerned, we try to work with them so that we make the naximum contribution to their, and their clients' environmental and CSR goals. We have clear environmental and sustainability policies in place, offer eco-friendly alternative tender bids and support our clients to 'rethink construction' to create best all round value - economically and environmentally.
